Nellie Castan Projects is an arts project venture born from the highly successful commercial gallery of 15 years Nellie Castan Gallery that closed its doors in December 2013. The decision to move the Gallery into a project based platform was to enable Nellie Castan to concentrate on showcasing artists nationally and internationally through special projects/events. Nellie Castan Projects is excited about the unlimited possibilities this new platform presents.
Nellie Castan has been active within the fine arts since 1980 when she became a partner in the decorative arts focused Distelfink Gallery. In the mid-90s Nellie became involved in Flinders Lane Gallery which sparked her interest in opening her own commercial gallery, Nellie Castan Gallery, in 1999.
